Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Our Commitment
HomeSoldOffers.com is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone — including people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. We believe every homeowner deserves a clear, stress-free experience when exploring their options, and that starts with a site anyone can use.
We work continuously to identify and remove barriers so that all visitors can request a no-obligation cash offer, read our guides, and reach our team without friction or frustration.
Conformance Status
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Our goal is full conformance; where gaps exist, we treat them as defects to be fixed.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility across the site, we apply the following practices:
- Semantic HTML. We use native HTML elements — headings, lists, landmarks, and form labels — so assistive technologies can accurately interpret page structure and convey it to users.
- Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element on our pages — links, buttons, form fields, and accordion controls — is reachable and operable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse or touch input.
- Color contrast. Text and interactive components are designed to meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
- Alternative text. All meaningful images carry descriptive
altattributes. Purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them. - Responsive design. Pages reflow cleanly at any viewport width and at up to 400% browser zoom without loss of content or functionality, supporting users who rely on magnification.
- Focus indicators. Visible focus outlines are preserved throughout the site so keyboard users always know which element is active.
- ARIA where needed. We apply ARIA roles and attributes where native HTML semantics are insufficient, such as the mobile navigation toggle and expandable FAQ items.
Known Limitations
We are transparent about areas that do not yet fully meet our accessibility goals:
- Offer form overlay. Our cash-offer form opens in a full-screen dialog layered over the page. It is built and maintained by us, it is labelled as a dialog for assistive technology, it can be dismissed with the Esc key, and keyboard focus moves into it on open and returns to your place on the page when it closes. Because it renders in a nested browsing context, a small number of older screen reader and browser combinations may still announce it inconsistently. If you have any difficulty with it, call us at 1-800-735-5327 or email hello@homesoldoffers.com — we will take your details directly and send your offer exactly the same way.
- Third-party analytics and advertising scripts. Some measurement and advertising tools we rely on inject their own markup, which we do not control and cannot always correct. We monitor these for accessibility regressions and raise issues with the vendors when we find them.
- Older article content. A handful of guide and blog articles were published before our current standards were adopted. We are reviewing them in order and correcting heading structure and image descriptions as we go.
Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you encounter a barrier, cannot access content, or want to report a problem, please let us know:
- Contact form: homesoldoffers.com/contact
- Email: hello@homesoldoffers.com
- Phone: 1-800-735-5327, Monday–Saturday, 8 am–8 pm Eastern
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within two business days. Please describe what you were trying to do, the page URL, and the assistive technology or browser you were using so we can reproduce and address the issue quickly.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a checkbox — it is a continuous practice. We review new and updated content against WCAG 2.1 AA before publishing, test with keyboard navigation and screen readers (including NVDA, VoiceOver, and JAWS) during development, and re-assess the full site on a recurring basis. As our site grows, our commitment to equal access grows with it.
If you have a suggestion for how we can make the experience better for you or anyone else, we genuinely want to hear it. Reach us anytime at our contact page or at hello@homesoldoffers.com.
